About Me

I'm just some person living in Texas. I'm female and I'm almost 30, but apparently I don't look much older than 18. My birthday is Nov. 4th. I'm  Scorpio, born in the year of the dog. Blood type is A+ ...I think. My favorite food is probably some sort of meat dish and my least favorite is probably some sort of fruit, like...melon. Gross. I don't really like sweets or really strong flavors. I hate cheese on burgers, but I don't like meat on pizza - actually I don't really like pizza that much...

Salt. It should only enhance the underlying flavors. Something shouldn't be salty :(. I'm guessing I'm somewhat of a super taster, but I don't like bland food either. I guess I really love delicate umami flavors.

I've been married for almost 10 years now, my anniversary is on April 10th. My husband's birthday is today actually, June 26th, the day I am making this page. He's now 30. HAHA.

My hobbies include collecting a variety of things, some of them silly like pictures, and some of them expensive like My Little Ponies and role playing video games. I also like to create things such as art - sculpture, drawings, paintings, photography, writing and world building. I also love to garden and grow things from seed.

Collecting and organizing things is a very zen activity for me. I suppose it would be extremely boring to most people, but maybe I really like micromanaging things. It is also a never-ending activity.

I also like to game, exclusively role playing games (RPGs), but I never really finish too many of them. I really never finish anything - but I never abandon anything either. I have a scanner personality
Scanners vs Deep Diver.  This should explain a little more about what I am talking about.

My husband and I also like to cook. My dream is to have a fully decked out kitchen with a pantry as immense as a small grocery store. Another dream is a shopping spree at the local gourmet grocery store.

I like a wide variety of music. Most of it is usually without vocals, or in another language entirely. I have to say I really don't like American music/culture that much. I guess it has its charm but it's not very deep or engaging. This is why I don't watch TV or listen to the radio. Youtube is my friend.

We have a lot of animals at the moment. We both like them very much. So far we have: 10 bantam chickens, 2 pigeons, 2 rabbits, 8+ (they keep multiplying..) finches, 1 dove and 1 ridiculously ugly-cute pug by the name of Bugalina. We're hoping to get another pug sometime this year. I would recommend a pug to anyone by the way. I might update my blog with pictures of all the animals one day.

I'm not very social. I have exactly one friend and she lives out of state. I killed my facebook, and I guess the only time I tweet is when I post on my tumblr - which is hardly ever. I bounce around from various degrees of people loathing. I do believe, however, everyone is basically good. My mom thinks I am naive. I just try not to judge or assume too much about people unless they decide to be complete asses.

I'm much happier on my own. Anyone that stays around too long (with the exception of my one friend) drains me to the point of  exhaustion. Oh I suppose my husband is also an exception,  but by now he's much like another arm or leg to me. He's just part of me I suppose.

I hate when people tell me what to do when I have not asked for direction. You may as well slap me in the face for they both will give you the same reaction. Because of this quirk I keep to myself.

Just to throw this in here, political viewpoints are strongly libertarian. That's all I care to say about that because I think politics is a huge waste of time when dishonest people are involved. End of story.

Religious views are (struggling) Buddhist/Vedanta. I'd also say a good part of what I believe in is probably spiritual and pagan as well. Sound confusing? Well, that's what it is to be human. I'm naturally fiery and temperamental, so walking this path is hard for me. I openly admit my faults and I spend a great deal of time thinking about how I can improve my attitudes towards things. It also does not help I have a huge stubborn streak.

I think I have pretty much covered everything. I might come back to this later if I think of anything else.
