Another Dream Post

Well here I am again. Don't I sound super excited? Well...no.

Actually I decided to go ahead and just write down what I dreamed about last night cause I really have no other place I'd put it.

Anyway.

So last night I had this dream where there was a war going on like one of those civil war mock things, so no one was really getting hurt. I'm not really sure what I was doing, but for some reason I was try to put this object on a nail on the wall on this building in the middle of this "war". I think I succeeded, but it didn't change anything. So here comes this person who was like, I dunno, twice as tall as I am (and frankly I dunno how I got the first one up cause I'm only a lil taller than 5 feet and the first nail was way above where I can normally reach >.>) and he put the same object onto a different nail that was located higher than the first. He said something like,

Oh, you can't put it on the first nail, you got to put it on this one up here to change anything.

And when he did, the war suddenly stopped and all the guys stopped fighting and looked around at each other and everything calmed down.

So, after all this then a friend of mine that I used to know in high school came along and start doing things with me. In my memory of him from back then, the things we were doing were pretty normal for his personality in any case. One of the things we were doing was something like hiding under a table that had a large blanket laid over the top, which created a sort of secret hiding spot. I can't really remember what we were looking at but while we were, he started putting insects into my hair, and for s some reason I didn't seem to mind very much. Maybe it's because that's just the kind of thing he'd do, some senseless thing that has meaning to him only or in secret.

After a while, I started feeling the weight from the insects in my hair and they were crawling around and I just felt the need to remove them so I reached up with a hand and pulled my fingers through my hair and pulled out a handful of the insects. I don't remember if I actually looked at my hand or I noticed after I put the insects down somewhere that I noticed they were all actually hundreds of ladybugs.

At first I started to just randomly put them places, and even at one point I put them onto a plant or an object that was covered with ants and then I immediately thought "Why did I just do that? Now the ants are going to hurt the ladybugs.", but that wasn't the case. The ladybugs were undisturbed by the ants and as far as I could tell they weren't bothering each other.

I wandered with these ladybugs in my hair, my friend now occupied with some other distraction, and I ended up by a garden that I sensed that was mine. I never planted this garden in my dream, but I'm pretty sure people can identify with this sense you get from something in a dream belonging to you or no. The garden was full of withered fruit and flowers and other things, I can't really recall what all I had growing, but it was obvious that it hadn't been watered or attended to in quite some time. This is where I reached up into my hair and started putting all the ladybugs into my garden and I felt that the garden would do better from then on.

At this point I ended up going on some adventure with my insect friend, some family, some people I didn't like and someone I didn't know who wasn't a very pleasant person. The rest of the dream didn't really make much sense or merit even writing about. Bleh.

All in all, I've only looked up one thing in my dream thus far, since it is almost 8 am now. Someone ended up waking me up because they fell asleep on the floor and started snoring really loudly. I'll give you a couple guesses on who that was.

Ladybugs = (basically) good luck, good fortune.

Hair = health, and overall wellness. Long hair, thoughtful consideration over a problem, stroking your hair or touching it, emphasizes this but more along the lines of well being and sorting out thoughts and feelings towards this.

Garden = hard work and diligence will pay off in the end.

I'm pretty sure what I can tell about this dream. My mind was being nice to me last night. Heh.

:)

Happiness is:

Baking cookies with your husband for an hour and then watching him eat a dozen with a glass of milk and knowing he thinks they are yummy.

Watching your husband "secretly" shape a cat-shaped cookie that ends up looking like "a pig with a goatee and a mustache", then eating the cookie while laughing at him.

Spending 30 mins trying to figure out how the perfect cuddle went before you were interrupted by something and had to untangle your limbs.

Forehead kisses for knowing that the liquid inside eggs contains protein. ^^

Knowing your marriage is going on 6 years now and you STILL act like newlyweds and would probably sicken everyone around you.

I love you Scott! <3
